ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

1. Commitment

2. Conformance status 

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, due to the limitations described below.

Despite our best efforts to ensure the accessibility of this website, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Focus and Visual Indicators

Missing or Insufficient Focus Indicators Focus indicators lack proper contrast or are missing entirely across multiple interface elements including navigation items, form controls, buttons, footer links, and cookie preference controls.

Contrast Issues Text and UI components fail to meet minimum contrast requirements in a few areas, including hover/focus states of navigation links, text over gradient backgrounds in video sections, and form input field boundaries.

Forms and Data Entry

Form Field Identification Error messages do not specify which field has an error, displaying only generic messages like "This field is required."

Missing Form Autocomplete Form fields lack proper autocomplete attributes for common data fields including name, email, address, and contact information.

Interactive Elements

Tooltip Accessibility Tooltips disappear when users attempt to move their cursor over them and cannot be dismissed without moving focus. Tooltip content is not accessible to screen readers.

Keyboard Navigation Several interactive elements are not keyboard accessible, including the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link, download links, glossary buttons, and chat features.

Structure and Navigation

ARIA Implementation Navigation menus, accordions, and tooltips lack proper expand/collapse states. Breadcrumb navigation is missing required ARIA roles and current page indicators.

Heading Structure Some text that functions as headings is not marked up as such, while other text is incorrectly marked as headings when it should not be.

Content Identification

Duplicate Link Text Multiple links share identical text (eg, "Read article") but lead to different destinations, making their purpose unclear to screen reader users.

List Structure Content that visually appears as lists, such as footer links and numbered items in guidelines, lacks proper list markup.

Media and Images

Video Accessibility Videos lack audio descriptions for visual-only content, and some video transcripts are incomplete.

Image Text Alternatives Decorative images are not properly hidden from screen readers, and some images contain embedded text instead of using actual text.

Visual Layout

Content Obstruction Focused elements can be completely obscured by the sticky navigation and chat box modal.

Text Spacing When text spacing is adjusted, some content overlaps, particularly affecting reCAPTCHA verification messages.

5. Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on November 11, 2025. 

To evaluate the current level of accessibility, the website was assessed using manual and automated testing, as well as NVDA Assistive Technology, based on WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This website was tested with Google Chrome.

6. Formal complaints

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 10 business days, and to propose a solution within 30 business days. You are entitled to escalate a complaint to the national authority, should you be dissatisfied with our response to you.
